Transition Day

 

 

Spend the day time travel from the Stone Age to the Bronze Age and into Iron Age.

 

Looking and handling artefacts, our flint axe and arrow heads, Iron age arrow heads and sword, sit in the coracle, build a stone age shelter and an iron age round house. Explore the history of fire making and techniques. 

 

Practice the skills you would have needed to be a hunter-gather. Practice your specialised skills of the artisans, pot making, basket weaving or jewellery making.
